Physical AI company

Robots that help people in the physical world.

ORB Robotics builds AI that works next to people, not only on a screen. Our first project is Aiala — a robotic walker for older people who live at home and walk with support.

Our first project

Aiala — the walker that comes when you call.

Older people living alone need something to lean on right where they are, and a way for the family to learn in time that help is needed. Aiala is being built to do both: drive itself to the bed on call, support every step and alert the family.

Where Aiala is today

  • Drive platform assembled and driving on a donor drive kit.
  • Steering: parts in hand, assembly is next.
  • Autonomy and family alerts: architecture and full parts list ready.
  • Next validation step: supervised trials with a care or rehabilitation partner.

How we work

Self-driving experience, applied to everyday life.

Robots that move next to people have to be useful, affordable and safe at the same time. These are the rules we build by.

Proven components, our own hard parts

We prototype from off-the-shelf compute, sensors and drives, and spend our engineering time on the hard parts: perception, autonomy in real homes and safety.

Safety before autonomy

A safety chain that does not depend on software. Operator control first, then autonomy. Bench tests first, then supervised trials with people.

Honest about the stage

We separate what already works from what is planned. Missed events and false alarms are counted, not described.

Prototype at home, produce with partners

We build prototypes in Kazakhstan and look to the Chinese hardware ecosystem for production chassis, drives and components.

Team

United by a belief in Physical AI.

We build AI that helps people in the physical world. Between us: product and demand, perception and autonomy, robotics and manufacturing.

Work with us

We are looking for partners.

Support to build the first working Aiala prototype. A care or rehabilitation partner for supervised trials. Manufacturing partners for chassis and drives.
